Our philosophy
What makes YOU LOOK PERFECT special?
From the initial idea through the selection of materials to the finished loungewear, we personally guide you through every step of the process. Our goal is to create clothing that meets the highest quality standards and will bring you joy for many years to come.
Made in Europe
Our loungewear is made exclusively in Europe—from Italian yarn and produced in small, family-run workshops, primarily in Portugal.
Working closely with our production partners is particularly important to us. That’s why we regularly visit their facilities in person. This allows us to get to know the people who make our collections and to closely monitor the production processes.
Our production partners are contractually obligated to adhere to high labor and social standards. These include, among other things, the prohibition of child labor and forced labor, safe working conditions, regulated working hours, fair compensation, and compliance with applicable labor laws.
Natural fibers instead of synthetic materials
For our collections, we use only high-quality natural fibers such as merino wool.
Merino wool regulates temperature, is breathable, odor-neutral, and particularly comfortable against the skin. It is also a renewable resource.
Unlike synthetic fibers such as polyester, polyacrylic, or polyamide, these synthetic fibers do not release microplastics during washing.
We also avoid using plastic in our packaging whenever possible. Our products are packaged in tissue paper and boxes made from recycled paper.
Italian merino yarn
We use only high-quality Italian merino yarn for our collections.
Before each new collection, we visit the international yarn fair in Florence and select from a wide range of yarns those that meet our high standards.
We then test the yarns for pilling, dimensional stability, wash resistance, and comfort, among other things. Only then do we select the yarn that will be used in our collection.
Our items are also pre-washed, so they're ready to wear right away.
Of course, we use only mulesing-free merino yarn.
Specializing in knit loungewear
Since its founding in 2017, YOU LOOK PERFECT has focused exclusively on high-quality knit loungewear.
This specialization allows us to bring all of our experience to bear in the development of each individual model.
Knitwear stands out for its soft drape, natural elasticity, and exceptional comfort. For me personally, knitwear has always been the most beautiful and comfortable type of clothing.
The idea for YOU LOOK PERFECT came from a desire to create elegant loungewear that is beautifully crafted and feels just as comfortable at home as it does on the go.
Materials Tested for Harmful Substances
Our Italian merino yarn has been tested by Oeko-Tex for harmful substances.
This ensures that the yarn used has been tested for harmful substances and meets strict product safety standards.
Carefully packaged and reliably shipped
Standard shipping is free in many of the countries we ship to.
For shipping, we partner with Austrian Post, DPD, and DHL Express. These shipping providers are implementing various measures to reduce their transportation emissions, such as optimizing delivery routes and increasing the use of alternative propulsion systems.
We also make a point of avoiding plastic in our packaging whenever possible.
We are convinced that high-quality materials, meticulous craftsmanship, and close collaboration with our manufacturing partners form the foundation for durable clothing.
