Sustainable & fairly produced loungewear

The merino sheep was bred to have more skin folds to increase wool yield. However, this resulted in the animals also developing wrinkles on the side of the butt where maggots nest and eat the animals. Therefore, mulesing has been started, here this fold of skin on the buttocks of small lambs is cut away. However, this is a bloody process and often carried out without anaesthesia. On many farms these skin folds have therefore already been bred back so that the animals do not have to be cut away. The result of this process is mulesing-free wool, which we purchase for our entire production.

From the beginning, we only produce fairly in Europe because the employees have important rights here and also environmental protection has to be respected. This way we can ensure that we have neither child labour nor forced labour and that the workers are paid above minimum wage. In addition, there are other important rights such as occupational health and safety, training, the right to part-time work and meetings, normal working hours, etc.

Also ecological production as well as recycling of waste, recycling of dirty water, use of sustainable energy is very important and is respected.

These parcel services already save CO2 through route optimization, electronic parcel announcements and increased delivery by natural gas/electric cars and measure the values. What is emitted is offset by renewable energy projects and tree planting.
